So finally I have some time and energy to update you all on what's going on here.







I got the cheque last time on the amount of 34.000 thai baht, about 1000usd. This was the amount I have to pay as a deposit for the school. But like I said the school was closed by the time I finally got the cheque so I had to wait until the next day, which was Friday.



After sleeping in until almost noon, I got up and went to the Hua Mak campus (http://www.au.edu/), the one in the city. When I got there everyone was on lunch naturally and I had to wait outside in the heat, thai rules are that if you visit any school or government building you have to wear real shoes and long pants so I was sweating my ass off. Strange rules to have in a country where it never gets below 25.



Finally they came back from lunch and I paid the money and they said, come back monday at 4pm and you'll get the acceptance letter and all other papers you might need. And that's all, so I left again, 2 minutes later, with no more info than that, and as I came to think of later I hadn't even gotten a receipt that they received the money.. I don't think that'll be a problem, but it would've been nice to be sure about it.



Summa summarum, I'll write more about it tomorrow or the next day when i know more. Now my plan is to go to Koh Samui in the south as soon as all this is settled and relax for about a week, then I'm going with some friends to Ampawa, a nice little village a couple of hours south of Bangkok and I think the 17th I'm flying to Macau and there I will take the ferry and visit friends in Hong Kong.







This weekend I spent first going with friends to watch a movie, The Deaths of Ian Stone, terrible movie, don't see it. Then friday night I went out with my Japanese friend Taka, we went to a couple of different clubs and I came back 7 or 8 am after a crazy night, as they often are in this city. Yesterday I was pretty much dead so just play pool, watch another movie "The Mist" (pretty good) and sleep.







Tomorrow I'll start looking for apartement near the Hua Mak campus, accually I just remembered that that was the reason I went to an internet cafe now in the first place.. I have some pictures, not any fun ones though, but enjoy!
